Betsy Peterson is no stranger to performing. She has been a member of the
Texas Lovin’ Cloggers
competition and exhibition team since 1992 and has
performed internationally in France and Australia.
And she has appeared locally
as a “Babe of Babylon” in the musical, “The Prodigal Son”.
Currently,
she is on the staff of ComedySportz and in 2005, debuted as Budget Marilyn.
From the moment Budget Marilyn arrives, she is comedy-in-motion. Her
performance begins
with her announcement of the “budget” performance and
then lip-syncs into one of Marilyn’s
most popular songs combined with a comic
dance/ clogging routine and a finale with Marilyn’s
famous “Happy Birthday”
song—Budget Marilyn style, of course.
